To soap opera audiences, she is probably best remembered as Mary Mae Ward on General Hospital. Her films included Klute, The New Centurions, Uptown Saturday Night, Wrong Is Right, & Tales from the Hood. She also appeared in The Golden Girls. A Different World, & Go Tell It on the Mountain.
