
W. Don Cornwell is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Granite Broadcasting Corporation. Mr. Cornwell's career spans over 30 years. He previously served as Vice President Investment Banking Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. While at Goldman Sachs, Cornwell was engaged in public and private financing of publicly traded and privately owned companies, with a primary focus on consumer product and media companies.
In addition to transaction responsibility, Cornwell served as the chief operating officer of the Corporate Finance Department from 1980-1988 where he was responsible for the day-to-day management of a staff of over 150 professionals. Currently, Mr. Cornwell serves on the board of Pfizer Inc., Avon and The Wallace Foundation. He is also a trustee of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of New York.
