Scott Syphax is the President and CEO of Nehemiah Corporation of America, a Sacramento based non-profit founded in 1997. NCC is one of the largest non-profit community development corporations in the country with over $187 million in annual revenues. Previously, Mr. Syphax was Manager of Public Affairs for Eli Lilly & Company.

Mr. Syphax earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with an emphasis on Real Estate Development and Land Use Planning from the California State University, Sacramento. He was a National Fellow with the Coro National Board of Governors Association in Washington D.C., and an Executive Fellow of the Coro Foundation in San Francisco.

Mr. Syphax is currently the Chairman of the Financial Solvency Standards Board of California for State Department of Managed Health Care and a Commissioner for the Sacramento County Civil Service Commission. He serves as the Vice Chairman of the Corporate Fund Board for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., and is a Director of the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, and a Trustee of Sutter Health Sacramento Sierra Region.
