Maurice Tose

Maurice B. Tose is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of TeleCommunication Systems. He founded the company in 1987 and has been a director and Chairman of the Board since then. Prior to founding TeleCommunication Systems, Mr. Tose was the Director of Department of Defense Programs for Techmatics, headquartered in Silver Spring, Maryland.

He was recognized in each of the past three years as one of the country’s Top Black Technology Entrepreneurs by Career Communications Group. He currently is a Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserves and serves on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Naval Academy Foundation. Mr. Tose holds a B.S. degree in Operations Analysis from the U.S. Naval Academy.
