Jame E. Nevels is the founder and chairman of The Swarthmore Group. He has more than twenty-four years experience in the securities and investment industry. He is an honors (cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) graduate of Bucknell University, and holds an A.B. degree in Political Science and Philosophy, and a M.B.A. degree from the Wharton School, the University of Pennsylvania, and a J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Mr. Nevels was a member of the Board of Trustees of Bucknell University during which he headed a standing committee and served on the Board’s Executive Committee. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Berea College and is a member of the Board of the Association of Governing Boards of Colleges and Universities. Mr. Nevels also serves as a member of the Board of Visitors, Temple University-Fox School of Business and Management, and the Board of Overseers of the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
