
Andrea Murphy, a senior, maintains a 3.8 grade point average and serves as President of the National Honor Society. She consistently makes A's in her marketing and business technology classes. She has participated in every aspect of the marketing program from competitive events to service learning. During her junior year, she was in the Honors Marketing class and exhibited superior leadership qualities. She was elected president of Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA).
Andrea was one of five members of the school's Fed Challenge Team sponsored by The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. The team won first place among the Memphis City Schools. She is secretary of the Teenage Improvement Club sponsored by Alpha Kappa Alpha Beta Epsilon. She also is vice president of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).
Andrea takes charge and follows through with her responsibilities to the school and to her classmates. She is a role model to other students in academics and in extracurricular activities. She has served in a leadership capacity for Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center, collecting donations for the "Bunny Room" and helping with the "Enchanted Forest."
