
Adrianne Gore, a senior, is a highly motivated and extremely talented student, who is ranked first in her class. She has received the Memphis City Schools William H. Sweet Award for Academic Excellence each year since she was in the seventh grade. She received a top score of '5' on the AP World History Exam as a sophomore and made a '5' on the AP European History Exam her junior year.
She holds a 4.89 weighted grade point average and is currently taking AP U.S. History, AP Calculus and AP English Literature. Adrianne has been inducted into the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and Quill and Scroll. She has served on the Student Council's Executive Board for three years. She is Student Council President this year. She attended Governor's School for the Humanities and the Carleton Summer Writing Program.
During her junior year, Adrianne became a member of Shelby Farm's Youth Alliance, where she is chairperson of the Communications Committee. She assisted in hosting Earth Day last spring. She also participated in "Making Strides against Breast Cancer Walk" the past three years and chaired the Soup Kitchen project, recruiting 25 volunteers
